Analisis Kesalahan Umum I'rab Santri Pesantren MA Madaniyah Gunung Silanu Jeneponto

This study aims to identify and analyze common errors in the application of the i'rab rule among students of MA Madaniyah Gunung Silanu, Jeneponto. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data were collected through bare text analysis test techniques and in-depth interviews with class XI students. The results of the study indicate that the most dominant errors occur in determining the i'rab status in compound sentence structures (number) and errors in the use of branch i'rab signs (fara'iyyah). The main factors causing errors include the lack of independent textual analysis practice and the dominance of memorizing rules without a deep understanding of grammatical logic. This study recommends the need for innovation in Nahwu teaching methods that are more applicable in Islamic boarding schools.
