1. Editor's Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for decisions regarding the publication of articles based on academic quality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and compliance with publication ethics standards. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, ensure a fair and objective review process, and avoid conflicts of interest. Editors are also responsible for following up on allegations of ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are tasked with evaluating manuscripts objectively, professionally, and in a timely manner. Reviewers are required to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review and not use the information contained therein for personal gain. Reviewers must disclose potential conflicts of interest and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.

3. Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscripts submitted are original works, free from plagiarism, and have not been published or are being processed in other journals. Authors are required to cite references appropriately, present data and research results honestly and accurately, and state the contributions of each author. Authors must also disclose any conflicts of interest and comply with research ethics regulations.

4. Originality and Plagiarism

Every manuscript submitted to the Edukasiana Islam Journal will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts proven to contain plagiarism, fabrication, or data manipulation will be rejected or retracted.

5. Conflict of Interest

All parties involved in the publication process (editors, reviewers, and authors) are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of their assessment and publication decisions.

6. Research Ethics

Research involving humans or specific subjects must comply with applicable research ethics principles and, if necessary, include ethical clearance.

7. Retraction and Correction of Articles

If substantial errors or ethical violations are found after publication, the editor has the right to make corrections, clarifications, or retract articles in accordance with applicable regulations.
