Publishing Process

The Edukasiana Islam Journal implements a transparent, systematic, and academically standardized publishing process to ensure the quality and integrity of every article published. The stages of the publishing process are as follows:

Submission of Manuscript
Authors submit their manuscripts through the Open Journal System (OJS) of the Edukasiana Islam Journal by completing all metadata and following the writing guidelines (Author Guidelines).

Initial Screening
The editor conducts an initial screening of the manuscript for suitability with the journal's focus and scope, administrative completeness, writing format, and similarity level (plagiarism).

Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial selection are sent to competent reviewers through a double-blind peer review system to assess the scientific quality, originality, methodology, and academic contribution of the article.

Review Decision
Based on the reviewers' assessment, the editor decides whether to accept, request minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject the manuscript, accompanied by feedback for improvement to the author.

Revision by Author
Authors revise their manuscripts according to the comments from reviewers and editors within a specified period, then re-upload the revised manuscripts through OJS.

Final Decision
Editors conduct a final evaluation of the revised manuscripts to determine their suitability for publication.

Copyediting and Layout
Accepted articles undergo language editing, layout, and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality of presentation.

Publication
Finalized articles are published open access in the Edukasiana Islam Journal according to the predetermined publication schedule.
