Abstract

This quantitative research aims to empirically test the influence of Qira'ah Tafsir learning on the development of students' spiritual character in Islamic schools. The main focus of this study is the extent to which the intensity and quality of understanding of tafsir texts contribute to the formation of students' spiritual dimensions. The research method used was a correlational survey with a simple linear regression approach. The study population included all students at the secondary level of Islamic schools, with random sampling used to ensure objective data representation. The research instrument consisted of a validated Likert-scale questionnaire to measure learning variables and spiritual character. The results of statistical data analysis indicate a positive and significant influence of Qira'ah Tafsir learning on strengthening students' spiritual character. This finding indicates that the better the quality of the tafsir learning process in the classroom, the stronger the spiritual integrity demonstrated by students in their daily behavior. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening tafsir learning methodologies that are oriented towards the internalization of transcendental values. It is recommended that educators integrate affective-spiritual aspects into every teaching session to produce graduates who possess a balance between intellectual intelligence and personal piety.
