Abstract

Mubttada’and khabar are the main elements of nominal sentences (jumlah ismiyah) in Arabic grammar and play a crucial role in forming correct sentence structures and meanings. This article aims to examine the definitions of mubtada’ and khabar, their conditions, types, and roles in Arabic language learning. The research method employed is qualitative library research through the analysis of classical and modern Arabic grammar references. The study reveals that a proper understanding of mubtada’ and khabar significantly improves learners’ ability to read, comprehend, and construct Arabic sentences accurately according to grammatical rules.

Arabic is the language of the Islamic holy book, the Qur'an. All Muslims recognize that the Qur'an is the call of Allah SWT, a perfect guide to life. Arabic is the language of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), a role model for all Muslims. Arabic is the gateway to all Islamic knowledge. One cannot delve into the ocean of Islamic knowledge without passing through its door. Arabic is also the language in which we prostrate ourselves to Him. The Qur'an is a holy book in Arabic filled with wisdom. The Qur'an has 114 chapters and 6,236 verses. Studying the Qur'an is obligatory for every Muslim. Tajweed is the science that governs how to read the Qur'an correctly according to established rules. One important component of tajweed is the discussion of the letters jar and nashab. These two concepts relate to how to

pronounce the sounds of letters when reading, which affects the clarity and accuracy of the Qur'anic recitation. Mastering this material is very important for everyone who wants to read the Qur'an correctly and in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
