This study aims to examine in depth the role of Arabic vocabulary mastery as a factor in improving students' language skills. As agents of change, students are required to communicate effectively. Everyday conversation is the primary means for building relationships, exchanging information, and developing interpersonal skills. Everyday conversation on campus is a form of social interaction that is integral to student life. These conversations occur naturally in various situations, both formal and informal, such as in classrooms, the cafeteria, the library, and the campus environment. This study aims to describe the forms, topics, and functions of everyday conversation on campus. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation and conversation recording. The results indicate that student conversations on campus are dominated by academic and non-academic topics, use informal language, and primarily serve as a means of conveying information, solving problems, and establishing social relationships
