Tinjauan Maqaṣid Al-Syariah Terhadap Peran Penghulu dalam Kesiapan Berumah Tangga Bagi Calon Pengantin di Kecamatan Banjar Margo Kabupaten Tulang Bawang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the penghulu in the readiness of marriage for prospective brides and grooms in Banjar Margo District, Tulang Bawang Regency and to analyze the review of maqaṣid al syariah on the role of the penghulu in the readiness of marriage for prospective brides and grooms in Banjar Margo District, Tulang Bawang Regency. The method used is a qualitative method, namely a method of producing descriptive data. The type of research used in this study is field research. Field research is conducted by reviewing data sourced from the location or field of research. This research is descriptive analytical. The results of the study indicate that the role of the penghulu in the readiness of young prospective brides and grooms to marry in Banjar Margo District, Tulang Bawang Regency is to provide services, supervision, guidance, advice, family experiences, education, and socialization, so that prospective brides and grooms are better prepared to face marriage and build a household. The review of maqaṣid al-syaria'ah on the role of the penghulu in the readiness of marriage for prospective brides and grooms in Banjar Margo District, Tulang Bawang Regency is included in the maslahat ḍaruriyat and kemasalahat. The implementation of the role by the penghulu is a pre-marital guidance program to realize a sakinah family, where a sakinah family is a maqaṣid al-tabi'ah (support) for the realization of maqaṣid al-syariah (core goal) namely the maqaṣid contained in marriage, namely continuing offspring and continuity of life in this world
