Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the impact of early marriage on the economic well-being of families in Kapita Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, and 2) Determine the economic conditions of families in Kapita Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency.
This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 39 respondents who had entered into early marriage. The results indicate that early marriage has a significant impact on family economic well-being. Low education and young age influence the decision to marry early and negatively impact family economic stability.
